This simple programmable robot for young children is an excellent tool for teaching sequencing, estimation, problem-solving and more. The physical robot is programmed to move forward and back and turn left and right by pressing the corresponding arrow keys on its back. Scratch is a programming language where students can program and share interactive media such as stories, games, and animation with people from all over the world. It is also a block coding program, like Scratch Jr. but with many more features. As children create with Scratch, they learn to think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically.

The program works online with most platforms including Windows, Mac, and iOS and Android tablets. An off-line version is also available for download.
